The Power of the Disability Vote
In partnership with the Doodling for Democracy Voter Education Coalition we are offering free, in-person sneak peaks of scenes from the documentary-in-progress, followed by discussion, art making, voter education, and other voting-related activities designed by local communities.
Event participants will be invited to make artistic contributions to our documentary project.

Embracing Possibilities-Macon, GA
Come out and enjoy a sneak peek of "Doodling for Democracy" new trailer and 2 other films in Macon, Ga at the Douglass Theatre. There is light refreshments and a "Talk Back" session with all the film makers.

Juneteenth Celebration-Albany, GA
A Juneteenth Celebration will take place at the campus of Mount Zion Church on Friday, June 19, 2026, and vendors are invited to register and make this a time of celebration and more!
Set up time will be at 10 a.m.
The celebration will be from 11 a.m. to 3p.m.

REV UP VA at George Mason University
Join REV UP Virginia at George Mason University on September 15, 11-2 to celebrate Disability Voting Rights Week. With assistance from the League of Women Voters of the Fairfax Area, get registered to vote and have all your voting questions and/or concerns addressed. Learn about REV UP Virginia — a statewide disability vote coalition — working to increase the political power of disabled Virginians. Check-out the accessible voting machine demo and give it a try. Join us for pizza, get a free t-shirt, and other fun swag!
